PAINT OUT
Inspired by the picturesque hamlet of Palenville

On June 25-26, 2016, artists gathered to paint in the fourth annual PAINT OUT in Palenville, New York, a free plein air event at the base of the historic Kaaterskill Clove. The freshly finished paintings were on display during a Sunday reception. They can be seen and purchased in this online store. Half of the proceeds go to the artist and half supports the arts in Palenville.
In addition to the PAINT OUT, four local artists hosted OPEN STUDIOs for visitors on Saturday, June 25, from 12 - 5 pm and on Sunday, June 26, from 12 - 4pm. Featured were potter Christine Margolias, painter Sandy Smith, painters Terrance DePietro and Nicole Lemelin. |
