Are You a Local Artist?
Adults, Preschool and Students in the Palenville Area Here's How to Show Your Art in Palenville's Tiny Art Galleries You have the choice of giving away small art pieces or letting us print small cards of your work. Either way!
|
First, register as a Tiny Artist by filling out the form on this page. Your tiny work will be given away for free. Your art work will be shown in one of our 9 tiny art galleries and people can take it from the tiny art gallery. If you don't have many small pieces to give away, you can give us a jpg and we will print some small cards to display your work.
We need 2-4 jpgs of your art that we will print. These jpgs will be printed on cardstock to help our galleries stay supplied with images. These 3 jpgs do NOT have to be the same art as you are giving away. The tiny galleries will have a mix of painted work, inkjet reproductions and the image cards. Last year the response to the Galleries was amazing.
There is even more for artists. There will be an Online Store filled with art for sale. We ask you to offer 3-5 works of art for sale. These can be full-sized pieces that you usually make and they will stay in your hands until they are sold. This project is focused on bringing you more attention as an artist. Think of your tiny free art as an elaborate, little business card. For this 2022 project, you will receive 100% of any sales. We will need some info for our Tiny Art Gallery Online Store (your private info will be respected) and a portrait of you. Simply snap a selfie or have someone take a photo of you as you work. Anything goes!
Now for the fun. If you are making free tiny art pieces for your new tiny gallery, we have some supplies to give you. We have some small gessoed canvases and some 2x3 in watercolor paper or 2x3 in paper for acrylics. For the photographers, we have 3x4 in rigid vinyl sleeves for inkjet prints. Supplies are limited, of course. Not like your imagination!
